Farm & Workshop

Hope for Roma owns an old and much renovated house in the village.  The founder Kristen lives in the house.  Right next to the house is a five room workshop, the former  “summer kitchen” and garage.  Here the women and girls meet and work and meetings can be held.

The land also includes a fruit orchard and two barns.  Four goats, a sheep and two ducks reside in one barn with a large pasture area.

The house of Hope for Roma received a second story in 2013-14.  This will eventually have two apartments for co-workers to help with the expanding Hope for Roma work.

The smaller of these two apartments will be completed in 2016 and will initially be used as another much needed workspace, and occasional guest apartment.
